After a number of lean years Cork County won back the Munster football
title at the expense of a great Limerick side in the final. Cork pulled
out all the stops to win this one. The team was coached by Keith Ricken
his back up team was Leo Lowney Eire Óg, Dermot Cronin Newmarket,
and Pat Sprat Buttevant and Richie Cahill Glenville.
